The Lower Pasture late May 2014

The Lower Pasture late May 2014

                                          Yellow Iris

Who's been lying here? Hare, badger?

Something leaves spit on the grass:

Grass is lengthening like the days

                                                    Huddie visits the "Faery Tree":

Harvesting grass and a new calf

So who owns that splotches calf anyway?

Grass to gather and store for the winter:

May Promises

The weather is up and down - warm and cool - nasty then nice - but the growth plight on regardless and promises a fruitful summer and autumn.

May trees covered in white or pink blossom.

Herbs in flower

 Goosegobs comining on:

Rhubarb on its second flush:

Strawberry flowers hopefully will be followed by some juicy fruits:
Sour cherry flowers give way to young fruits - and with luck, the birds will leave us a few this year
Pears for us, not our heirs:

Some apples on the way:
An then the simply visual feasts:

Some creature has helped itself from the canal:
And new arrivals:
A fresh racy sky:
And a Ladybird Nursery:
