LOUGH REE FULL TO OVERFLOWING, INVADING THE TREES

AWAY FROM THE DAMP PATHS CONNIE HAS SPORT WITH A DECENT-SIZED BRANCH

THE LYME TREE BESIDE THE HOUSE HAD TO COME DOWN ( :(  ). IT WAS LEANING TOO MUCH. 

 A CHANCE TO SEE AND SMELL THE BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR 

LEFT A STUMP TO SIT ON 

Another Wet One ...Scary Clonmacnoise

Another dark wet early February afternoon ..... Stay in at the fire? Not at all!

Went to Clonmacnoise in Co. Offaly.

I've been there several times before - mostly on balmy sunny days and it was serene and lovely.

Today it was nothing short of scary.

The ancient castle falling endlessly from the mound looked very eerie - and very atmospheric

... I loved it :).
